adidas TECHFIT

May 1, 2009 | Featured in the Summer 2009 Issue

A seamless on-court performance starts with getting after it in the weight room. Just ask Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, who knows that ironing out any weaknesses will keep him in tip-top shape and clear of injury so he can tear up the competition.

To support his monster frame during workouts, Dwight suits up in adidas TECHFIT PowerWEB gear. The compression top and shorts feature thermal plastic bands strategically placed on prime core muscles—such as the lower back, hips, glutes and thighs—that return the energy you put into them. The tank top’s ClimaCOOL material keeps you dry, and reduced seams enhance movement.

TECHFIT is also available with anatomically placed pads, which are great for the hardwood, because they reduce the impact when taking a charge or a high knee while battling for a rebound.

TECHFIT PowerWEB Top, $65;
TECHFIT PowerWEB Short, $60;
TECHFIT Padded Compression Top, $75; TECHFIT Padded Compression Short, $70, adidas.com
