Exclusive Interview: John Wall—Early Struggles, Motivation and Dribbling Drills

STACK spent a day with NBA rookie phenom John Wall leading up to his pro basketball debut. We learned a lot about the explosive Washington Wizards point guard and the road he traveled to become the first-overall draft pick and an NBA star. Whether dealing with his father's death at an early age (unbelievably tough) or getting cut from his high school team, John always found a way to use his pain as motivation.  In the video below, John reflects on those early struggles:

Never one to be content with success, John spent a good portion of the afternoon knocking out an on-court workout geared towards improving his upper-body strength, shooting and, of course, dribbling. See if you can hang with his sick Two-Ball Dribbling drill in the video below.
