Sidney Crosby’s Pyramid Trick

November 27, 2010

This past weekend, my esteemed colleague Matt previewed the new Reebok 11K Sickick III—also known as the stick Sidney Crosby uses to dangle around defensemen and dish out saucer passes to his Pittsburgh Penguin line mates.

Matt’s post includes a one-minute video of Crosby testing out the composite one-piece stick, which incorporates Griptonite technology. Crosby shows off his three-bar skills on a displaced net, capping off the display with a blazing slap shot that rings off the crossbar and knocks the net back into place on the goal line. Sid The Kid then flexes his muscles—and the Dual Matrix Technology of the Sickick.

If you thought that was sick, hold on for the granddaddy of trick shots. For his Pyramid Trick, Crosby goes snipe-city on a stack of pucks in the shape of a pyramid along the boards. We don't want to spoil the dramatics, so be sure to view it below:

We suspect this won’t be the last we see of Crosby and his new favorite stick. Check back for the latest from Sid and Reebok.
