Kobe Bryant's "The Black Mamba" Official Trailer

There are many reasons to be hyped up for next month's NBA All-Star Weekend [Feb. 18-21]—like witnessing Blake Griffin take flight in the dunk contest [for a taste of his dunking power, check out "Blake Griffin's Double Dose of Insanity"], and watching the world's greatest basketball players hoop it up against one another. Adding zest to the weekend's entertainment: the release of Nike Basketball's short film, The Black Mamba, featuring "the world's best basketball player," superstar Kobe Bryant.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, the film finds Kobe in Dallas with his new Zoom Kobe VI sneaker in hand. He has to battle his arch nemeses, played by Bruce Willis and Danny Trejo, using his skills on the court to succeed.

The Black Mamba will be released online in its entirety during NBA All-Star Weekend. Peep the trailer below.
