"Assassin's Creed III" Trailer Reveals American Revolution Setting

Rumor has it that our favorite Assassin is now living in the 18th Century and fighting for the American Revolution. If true, this will be virgin territory for the video game industry, as the War of Independence has so far gone untouched by developers. Leaked box art with a colonial flag in the background (above) seemed to confirm the rumor, but now we have more proof.

When the rumor began circulating, gamers thought the revolutionary war setting was a great idea. The trailer demonstrates conclusively that dropping the Assassin in to fight the British with George Washington and his Continental Army will make for an awesome experience. We can hardly wait to get our hands on the tomahawk and musket this coming October.
