In its inaugural season in the SEC this fall, Texas A&M's football team will be outfitted with new adidas uniforms.
The new Lone Star uniforms feature TECHFIT technology, making them light, sleek and form-fitting. The material is said to be 30 percent lighter than traditional jerseys. Notice the new materials on the Lone Star helmet as well as the jersey and pants, and check out the vertical stripes running down the sides of the uniform. A new logo design incorporates A&M's traditional letters inside an outline of the State of Texas.
Not pictured here is the Lone Star white helmet. ESPN uniform analyst Paul Lukas tracked it down here on the Uniwatch blog.
Scan the photos below to see all the details of the new uniforms. Will their new gear help the Aggies play better against the best defenses in the country? We'll find out this fall.
