On Aug. 10, Reebok Classics will re-release future NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson's Answer IV. Originally released in 2001, the Reebok Answer IV was worn by legendary point guard Allen Iverson during an unforgettable 2000-2001 season. His 31.1 points and 2.5 steals per game led the league and helped make him its Most Valuable Player.
In a David-vs.-Goliath battle, Iverson and his Answer IVs led the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals against Shaquille O'Neal and the Lakers. Arguably the biggest “did-you-see-that?” moment of the series—and most memorable image of Iverson in his Answer IVs—was the legendary “step over” in Game 1 (as seen at 3:35 in the video below).
Reebok's VP Todd Krinsky, who's been working with AI since 1996, breaks down the Answer IV in the video below.
The limited-edition Answer IV white/black hits key retailers Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs and others on Aug. 10 for $115.
