Basketball Drills to Dominate the Wing

August 28, 2012

Ball Handling

Every player on the court has offensive responsibilities, respective to their position. Point guards and tall players have defined roles, but wing players cover the full gamut—shooting, driving and posting up. Earn your spot on the wing by developing your all-around game.

To dominate the wing, you must master basketball’s most basic offensive tool—the triple-threat position, leading to a drive, shot or pass. After you master this position, determine the most effective way to go by reading the defense. Develop triple-threat power for a full complement of offensive moves.

Take your wing game to the next level with these basketball workouts.
