A pair of underdogs emerge victorious in Week Two of the STACK "Battle of the Brands" fantasy football league. Who let the dogs out? Here's a recap of the action.
It was the Reggie and RGIII show for Team adidas, as RB Reggie Bush and QB Robert Griffin III accounted for half of their team's league-leading 136 points. Team Reebok lost major points after injuries limited RB Ahmad Bradshaw and kept TE Antonio Gates out of action.
Cam Newton was the workingman for Team Under Armour, scoring two TDs—one passing, one rushing—on his way to posting a team-high 27 fantasy points. (Learn how Newton got ready for work in the story “Lights, Cam, Action,” featured in the “Back to School” issue of STACK magazine.) An imposing WR duo of Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald scored just 19 points for Team Nike, which fell to 1-1 after being projected to go undefeated in the Battle of the Brands.
