Fuel Up With a Breakfast From Roy Hibbert

December 27, 2012

Fuel up for your next early-morning game or practice with one of All-Star center Roy Hibbert's favorite pre-activity meals. The Indiana Pacers  frontman regularly chows down on a pre-made breakfast of scrambled eggs, ham and oatmeal topped with caramelized bananas. Want to dominate the court like Hibbert? Start by taking a page out of his nutrition book.

Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal Recipe

You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced banana (about 1 medium)

Directions

  • Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat
  • Stir in sugar and cinnamon
  • Add banana and cook for one to two minutes
  • Remove from heat
Just plop the mixture over a bowl of oatmeal cooked with 1/2 cup of low-fat milk. You'll have enough fuel to last all four quarters.
