Tyga to Release "Hotel California" in March
January 10, 2013 | Shay M.
Tyga will release his sophomore album Hotel California in March. The project will be a follow-up to his Young Money debut, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, which was released last year and featured the hit single "Rack City."

The California native confirmed the news during an interview with Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood, also hinting that a follow-up to his Fan of a Fan mixtape series with singer Chris Brown could be in the works. Said Tyga, "I think [Chris is] overseas right now. I haven't talked to him in a minute. We have a lot of songs, though. I'm dropping my album in March, and I think he's working on something new. So whenever we stop driving Lambos and posting pictures on Instagram, we can finish it."
The YMCMB rapper began working on his second album almost immediately after dropping his first, though news of a single and possible collaborations have not been released. In recent weeks, Tyga has made headlines for reasons other than music. (Guess which rappers are currently fighting via Twitter.) Most recently, he was ordered by a judge to fork over $16,000 to cover charges on his former accountant's credit card stemming from 2011 tour expenses. And before that, a clip leaked of an old unaired MTV show entitled "Bustas," in which the Compton MC can be heard claiming that he grew up living a privileged lifestyle. He dismissed the claims he made as a 15-year-old during the clip, insisting he lied in hopes of appearing on the show.
