Nike Vapor Strobe Goggles

Athletes, your vision is one of the most important elements of your training. Vision training is often neglected, but it shouldn't be, because we use our eyes to direct us through almost every action in sports. Vision training can enhance an athlete's performance tremendously. An athlete can improve his or her vision by training in a wide variety of ways.

Benefits of Vision Training

  • Visual alignment: both eyes work together to focus on one object, so you can properly position yourself in game situations to gain an edge
  • Hand/eye coordination: helps with reaction time so you can make effective decisions and react appropriately on the field or court
  • Visual memory: helps your eyes and brain communicate more efficiently
  • Visual acuity (clearness of vision): you benefit by improving your reaction time

One of the best tools for vision training are Nike Sparq Vapor Strobe Goggles. They work by slowing down movement with a constant flicker in the lens. This effect helps to improve coordination, the ability to process visual information and the timing of movements. Try them first without the goggles, then with them, then again without them to get the full effect of training.

2-4-6 Run Drill

This drill uses hurdles and the goggles to improve peripheral vision, quickness and lateral footwork.

This is a great drill for reaction and concentration.
