Colin Kaepernick’s cannon-like right arm is what got him originally drafted by the Chicago Cubs. His running ability has been unappreciated. The 6’7” quarterback can look a bit comical running the ball (sort of like a gazelle with legs that are a bit too big for its body), but that doesn’t mean he’s not lightning quick. Against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14, Kaepernick faked the handoff to running back Frank Gore, then exploded 50 yards down the field for a touchdown, untouched. It put the rest of the NFL on notice that his running was going undefended.
