New Technology Kills Soccer Odor for Good

Must See Soccer Videos

When you're on the pitch, you're working hard. Whether you're defending your own goal or striking to score, you run, kick, slide and sweat. It's an exciting game. But when the game's over and it's time to go home, sweaty cleats, shin guards and other gear can smell up your car in five seconds flat.

It doesn't have to be that way. Most odors are caused by bacteria, and silver's ability to kill odor-causing-bacteria is unmatched. Silver Edge Gear uses a silver lining to kill bacteria and prevent that nasty, sweaty soccer odor from taking over.

Testing of Silver Edge's silver coated fabric determined the the material prevented the growth of odor-causing-bacteria, even after 25 washes. According to Silver Edge, their patent pending Advanced PE47 Technology permanently encapsulates 100% of the nylon fibers in pure silver. The result is a fabric that kills odor-causing bacteria—and keeps killing it for the life of the product.

From shin guard pads and shoe inserts to t-shirts, arm sleeves and bags, Silver Edge Gear offers several products that will get rid of the stink for good.
