With Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook sidelined by a torn meniscus, Kevin Durant has to carry the load for his team through the second round of the NBA playoffs. Like the ever-evolving nature of his on-court game, Durant's Nike Zoom KD shoe continues to push the boundaries with each new iteration.
This summer Nike will release the sixth edition of the popular shoe. The KD VI will be a versatile low-cut model built for an explosive player. A significant change will be the addition of a 180-degree Max Zoom cushion unit instead of its usual thicker 360-degree bag. Some players might shy away from a low-cut model, but this shoe features a unique tongue, which provides an extraordinarily secure wrap while also allowing the feet to move naturally.
