The long-awaited reteaming of irreverant comedy duo Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson is in sight with The Internship coming to theaters June 7. The pair play Billy and Nick, two tech-challenged salesmen whose careers get destoyed by the digital age. Not ready to give up, they BS their way into a coveted internship at Google along with a group of smart, ambitious college students.
Billy and Nick's real problems begin when they have to compete against a bunch of computer geniuses half their age for a handful of highly sought-after jobs. Their only hope is to get creative, which makes for some funny and inspiring moments. They may be goofballs, but throughout the film, Billy and Nick show that they have more than a few tricks up their sleeves.
The Internship is directed by Shawn Levy, who directed a number of comedies, including Date Night (2010) and Just Married (2003). Co-stars include sexy Aussie Rose Byrne, known for her roles in X-Men First Class and Bridesmaids. The film also features the legendary John Goodman, TV star JoAnna Garcia (Reba, Animal Practice), Max Minghella (The Ides of March) and many other notables from both film and television.
Fans of the Vaughn-Wilson hit Wedding Crashers won't be disappointed, as the sidekicks slide right back into playing wild and crazy. Get a taste of the movie by watching the trailer below.
