Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck star in the crime thriller Runner, Runner, which hits theaters September 27, 2013. The plot follows struggling Princeton grad student Richie Furst (Timberlake), who gambles away his tuition money through online poker. But when he suspects he's been cheated by the website's corrupt owner and operator Ivan Block (Affleck), he travels to Costa Rica to confront him face to face.

After Furst arrives in Costa Rica, Block persuades him to become his protégé and right-hand man. Furst quickly finds himself in hot water when an FBI agent (played by Anthony Mackie) begins pressuring him to help bring Ivan down. In a tough spot, Furst must use his wits to outmaneuver both the Feds and his powerful benefactor.

Runner, Runner co-stars sexy British actress Gemma Arterton as Furst's love interest, Rebecca Shafran. Arterton is best known for the 2010 action-adventure flick Clash of the Titans. Other cast members include Oliver Cooper (The Hangover Part III) and David Costabile of TV's Breaking Bad.

Filmed largely in Puerto Rico and on the Princeton campus, this film was helmed by Lincoln Lawyer director Brad Furman. The screenplay comes from writing duo Brian Koppelman and David Levien, best known for Ocean's Thirteen. Leonardo DiCaprio is among the film's producers.
