Sport: Golf

Career Highlights: 79 PGA Tour victories, 14 major tournament victories, 11-time PGA Tour Player of the Year

Annual Endorsement Earnings: $42 million

Tiger Woods isn't dominating golf the way he used to, but his bank account isn't dropping off anytime soon.

The former No. 1 player in the world brings home $42 million in endorsements annually, with Nike, TaylorMade and Bridgestone being his main partnerships.

Woods has battled injuries and has changed his swing numerous times throughout his career. He's back to playing better than he has in years, but he's still a shadow of what he was during the 2000s, when he was the best golfer on the planet.

Once considered a marketing Golden Child, Woods damaged his reputation with a well-publicized split with his wife Elin Nordegren in 2010. Tiger's tarnished image cost him millions of dollars off the golf course, as big-time sponsors such as Gatorade, AT&T and General Motors dropped him from ad campaigns.

But time heals all, and with Woods finally finding his game again in 2018, the sponsors are coming back.

"When Tiger says something, the world takes notice," David Abeles, TaylorMade's chief executive, told The New York Times. "Because it's true. We're excited just when he talks in his own words."
