Music plays a huge role in most athletes' lives.
They listen when they travel.
They listen when they train.
And they listen before games to help them get in the right state of mind.
When it comes to music apps, there's arguably none more popular than Spotify.
Many athletes, such as MLS all-star goalie Zack Steffen, share their personal pre-game playlists through the app, allowing fans to get a sense of their taste in tunes.
While you might think you know the sort of music blasting inside a player's headphones when a TV camera captures them getting into the zone, it's not always what you'd expect. For example, did you know that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott listens to Train's "Drops of Jupiter" before every game?
The Spotify app is available in both free and premium versions, and LeBron James famously utilizes the former.
That means despite being one of the highest-paid athletes on the planet, LeBron's intense training sessions will occasionally be interrupted by an advertisement for a fast food joint or the local community college.
