Percy Harvin, the explosive running back/wide receiver/kick returner from the University of Florida (pictured here with Sidney Rice), was watching his career fade fast in Minnesota, where he attempted to catch passes from guys like Christian Ponder, Joe Webb and a washed-up Donovan McNabb. Then something wonderful happened. He got traded to the Seattle Seahawks to pair up with Russell Wilson on a team that seemed primed for a Super Bowl run. Bad karma. He developed a labrum tear in his hip during an off-season workout, had to undergo surgery, and everyone was sad.

When Harvin finally did see the field in Week 11, he quickly re-aggravated his hip. As he spends more time in sweats than pads, we are left to wonder how much better the already stellar Seahawks would be if he were out there making cornerbacks look silly with his quicks. He hasn't been ruled out for the playoffs, but here's hoping Harvin returns to the gridiron full time in 2014.
