Ball State Football's Squat Day Looks Like the Set of a Superhero Movie

Ball State football players dress up like comic book superheroes for 'Squat Day.'

Ball State University sure knows how to spice up a workout. A couple of years ago, we saw them turn one into an edition of Monday Night Raw by dressing up as their favorite pro wrestlers and hauling around championship belts.

Now, they're hitting leg day with the likes of the Joker, the Punisher and the Incredible Hulk. In another creative stroke of genius from their strength coach Dave Feeley, the Cardinals decided to turn their weight room into a real-life comic book for a recent Squat workout. Players dressed up as their favorite superheroes (or their own original creations), made heroic entrances through a tunnel of smoke and proceeded to vanquish massive amounts of weight.

Props to the Ball State Cardinals for finding ways to keep workouts fresh and fun, and a special shout-out to the guy who squatted in a full Master Chief outfit. If he keeps up that kind of effort, he'll be saving the universe in no time.
