Ben Kingsley Takes on Role of War Criminal for 'An Ordinary Man'

Ben Kingsley is set to portray a war criminal in hiding in the big screen thriller 'An Ordinary Man.'

Ben Kingsley is set to portray a war criminal in hiding in the big screen thriller An Ordinary Man. The intriguing story follows the character as he develops a relationship with his maid, coming to realize, as the manhunt intensifies, that she is the only person he can trust and his only connection to the outside world.

The role of the maid will be played by exciting Iceland-born newcomer Hera Hilmar (TV series Da Vinci's Demons). 

Brad Silberling is writing and directing the film. He is best known for directing a different type of movie, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Most recently, he directed episodes of the popular TV series Jane the Virgin.

Co-starring in the feature is accomplished British actor Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy and Spy).

The film is being produced by Enderby Entertainment, which produced the recent thriller Go With Me, starring Anthony Hopkins and Julia Stiles.

Filming on An Ordinary Man will begin soon in Belgrade, Serbia.
