Bills Receiver Marquise Goodwin Hit 22.25 Mph When Burning Darrelle Revis on an 84-Yard TD Reception

Bills receiver Marquise Goodwin ran a blazing 22.25 mph in Thursday night's NFL game.

The Buffalo Bills lost 37-31 to the New York Jets on Thursday night. But the loss can't be blamed on the Bills' speedy receiver Marquise Goodwin, who finished the game with two catches, 112 yards and one touchdown. He also clocked the fastest speed of any player so far this season.

During the first quarter, Goodwin beat Jets cornerback and seven-time Pro Bowler Darrelle Revis for an 84-yard touchdown reception. Fans might be quick to blame Revis for giving up the score, but it's doubtful that anyone could've stopped Goodwin on that play, as the 5-foot-9, 180-pound receiver ran a blazing 22.25 mph on the fade route.

Revis had no chance against the ex-Texas Longhorns track star and Olympian. Goodwin placed 10th in the Long Jump final during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. He also is a two-time NCAA long jump champion and four-time NCAA All-American.

Goodwin has definitely learned how to put his track speed to good use in the NFL. In the 2013 Draft Combine, he ran a 4.27-second 40-Yard Dash, only .03 seconds behind Arizona running back Chris Johnson's 2010 record. Revis definitely learned the hard way not to look back at the quarterback when covering an Olympian.
