WATCH: Video Proof that Cam Newton and Randall Cobb Should Not Try to Freestyle Rap. Nope. Never.

Cam Newton & Randall Cobb are great football players, but their freestyle rap game doesn't stack up. Watch the video to see why.

You've heard the old saying, "Don't quit your day job, buddy." Hopefully two-time NFL Pro Bowl QB Cam Newton and Pro Bowl wideout Randall Cobb follow this advice. These guys are pretty good at being two of the best athletes in the world, but evidenced by the video above, their freestyle game is, well, uh, not good.

During a break in a summer workout, the training partners busted into what can only be described as a loosely coordinated collection of grunts, head bobs and utterances of the same few words over and over. They rhyme a couple times, but I think it's by accident.

Back to the good stuff, because after all, Cam is a STACK partner and a god. He has powered the Carolina Panthers to a 14-0 start and has solidified himself as the frontrunner for the NFL's Most Valuable Player Award. Last week, he became the first player in NFL history to rush for 100 yards, pass for 300 yards and throw 5 TD passes in a single game. The guy seems to be rewriting history on a weekly basis, so don't feel bad about his underwhelming performance above.
