Can Davonte Lynch Go 'Beast Mode' Like Big Brother Marshawn?

See highlights from the small college RB who has carried more than a few defenders in games—just like his older brother.

New Mexico Highlands University running back Davonte Lynch is looking to have a beastly senior season. If his last name sounds familiar, that's because Davonte is the younger brother of former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch. And like Marshawn, Davonte can indeed go full-on Beast Mode.

After transferring from Contra Costa College (San Pablo, California).Davonte played his junior season with NMHU's Cowboys. In 10 games played, he had 152 rushing attempts for 777 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and three touchdowns.

Baby Beast Mode has been working hard during the off-season to improve his stats this year. In his Instagram posts (below), you can see him performing Hill Sprints and sand work to help increase his speed and explosion.

Hopefully the 5-foot-7 running back will get a chance to play in the NFL. It's going to be hard enough watching the league this season without the original Beast Mode, since he retired. Check out more highlights of Devonte in the video below.
