A few years ago, former NBA star Amar'e Stoudemire gained attention for his red wine baths. But he's not the only athlete to have tried "vinotherapy." Soccer player Patrice Evra and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker have also given it a go. Stoudemire says, "the red wine bath…creates more circulation of my red blood cells," but the science to support such a claim is scant to none. Another drawback: This habit could get really expensive.
