Try This Hip and Chest Opener from NFL Wide Receiver Pierre Garcon

This off-season, Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon is working on his hip mobility and upper-body flexibility.

NFL wide receiver Pierre Garcon currently holds the Washington Redskins' record for most receptions in a single season. He also is one of three players in NFL history with five-plus catches in all 16 regular season games (2013).

Garcon is certainly not taking his talent for granted this off-season, working out with trainer Chris Gorres at Explosive Performance. The two are working on Garcon's strength, his lateral explosiveness, ability to react quickly, and last but not least, mobility.

Garcon recently reposted a video from Gorres of himself performing a hip and chest opening dynamic exercise. Watch the move below, which increases flexibility in his (left) hip, shoulders and chest, and activates the postural muscles in the scapula and thoracic spine.
