J.J. Watt Talks Practicing Hard and Eating Right at Super Bowl XLVII

NFL defensive end J.J. Watt took some time out at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans to discuss how he will improve in the off-season, why he practices hard and how Gatorade keeps him fueled.

Watt said that this off-season, he is specifically focused on adding mass and improving his quickness and agility to become an even better pass rusher. He stressed the importance of practicing at 100% all the time to separate himself from the other guys—like chasing down running backs at practice for extra cardio.

Watt also talked about the importance of nutrition, and how fueling both before and after workouts is something he wishes he knew about in college, but how practicing it now has raised his potential. Finally, Watt talked about the Gatorade products he uses every game (Prime Chews, recovery shakes, etc.), and how they've propelled his play to another level.
