9-Year-Old Girl Who Stars on Varsity Basketball Team Would School You

Jaden Newman is a 9-year-old fourth grader who plays on the girls high school varsity team, and she is GOOD. Check out video of Jaden on STACK.com.

Jaden Newman is a 9-year-old fourth grader at Downey Christian School in Florida, who currently plays for the high school girl's varsity basketball team. Don't let her age fool you. This little point guard can ball. Newman averages 14.8 points and 7.5 assists a game.

Last year, her 11-year-old brother was an Internet sensation for averaging 12.2 points per game on the men's varsity basketball team. Their dad, Jamie Newman, coaches both of their teams, but in the highlight video above, it's clear that Jaden earned her varsity spot through pure talent and not due to her dad playing favorites.

The question in our mind is whether this girl will find a way to play college ball before she can legally drive.

Check out her highlight video below to watch this 9-year-old hoopster in action.
