Jason Pierre-Paul Bench Presses with Injured Hand

The N.Y. Giants defensive end seems eager to show the world he's ready to get back on the field.

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre Paul, who lost part of his hand in a Fourth of July fireworks accident, has posted another Instagram video of himself working out. It's the second video JPP has shared in the past two weeks, showing his desire to prove that his recovery is going well.

What's different about his latest Instagram post is that Pierre-Paul is repping 225 pounds on the Bench Press, an exercise that requires greater use of his hands. In the video below, he is using a towel on the bar. We're not sure whether it's to secure his grip or cover up his injury, but it's clear that he can still throw up some big-boy weight.

No one really knows what the Giants plan to do with him or when he will return, but the Pro Bowler seems confident he can come back strong, and that he doesn't need an index finger to lift weights or sack a quarterback.
