Gaming Update: 'Last of Us', 'Battlefield 4', 'Call of Duty: Ghosts'

Watch a teaser for 'Last of Us' DLC and get news on 'Battlefield 4' and 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' DLC in STACK Gamer's weekly Gaming Update.

In this week's gaming update, Naughty Dog released a teaser to an upcoming DLC for Last of Us, DICE and EA attempted to remedy some of Battlefield 4's ills, with mixed results, and a new trailer was released for Ghosts' "Onslaught" DLC.

Last of Us DLC Coming in February; Preview Released

Last of Us long-awaited DLC, "Left Behind," first hinted at in November, will arrive Feb. 14. It serves as a prequel to the title and will follow the friendship between Ellie and her older friend, Riley. Peep the three-minute preview above! There is also a second clip with the voice actors behind Ellie and Riley, Ashley Johnson and Yaani King, explaining the story behind the downloadable content.

According to developer Naughty Dog, "Left Behind" will present a fleshed out story for gamers to sink their teeth into. "With Left Behind, we wanted to make a single-player DLC that was as fully crafted as our main campaign. There's a great deal that we've done with the DLC that exceeds the level of narrative density that we had in the main campaign," said lead game designer Jacob Minkoff.

"Left Behind" will cost $14.99 without the season pass.

Patch Released for Xbox One Battlefield 4 Gamers

Tell us if you've heard this before: a patch has been released for Xbox One Battlefield 4 gamers, hopefully to resolve those pesky issues once and for all. On Jan. 15, DICE released a new update targeting the overall stability and corruption of single-player save files, among a host of other issues. Gamers are still complaining about saves disappearing, so be wary.

Fixes for the PS3, PS4 and PC were also released. They were aimed at adding stability, making sure friendly markers appear and updating health on the kill card.

Looks like a long road ahead for the title, which has been plagued with issues since its launch on Nov. 12. Promising to get the issues fixed, EA has pushed back all planned DLCs indefinitely to maintain focus. But they may be in more trouble, recently getting caught up in a scandal involving paying influential YouTube creators to post favorable videos of the game without highlighting the glitches.

Call of Duty: Ghosts' "Onslaught" DLC Trailer Released

Call of Duty's forthcoming DLC , "Onslaught," will arrive Jan. 28 on Xbox Live and later for the other platforms. With it comes a new weapon, Halloween's Michael Myers and four new maps: Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition.

Aware that the downloadable content can take over your life, Activision has released a new live-action trailer to help you find an excuse to get out of any obligations. Check it out below!
