Cam Newton Still Wears a Hospital Bracelet From His Car Accident as a Reminder

The road to Super Bowl 50 has not been easy for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. In December 2014, he was in a bad car accident. His car apparently overturned on a bridge near the stadium, and Newton suffered fractures in his lower back.

Fast forward to this season, when Newton led the Panthers to the NFL's best record and their second Super Bowl appearance.

The dual threat QB still wears the bracelet that the hospital clapped on his wrist on the day of the crash as a reminder that he is lucky to be alive.
