Popcorn

Multigrain Pringles are a sure winner over buttered popcorn, right?

Verdict

"Multigrain" sounds healthy, but it only means the chips are made from multiple grain varieties. There's a difference between "multigrain" and "whole grain."

Popcorn, no matter what you put on it, is 100 percent whole grain and a great source of complex carbohydrates and lasting energy. Three and a half cups of popcorn only counts for half the fat of a serving of Pringles. Popcorn is a healthy choice, even Newman's Own Light Butter variety. Just avoid the super buttery stuff sold in movie theaters.
