Nike Air Max+ 2011 Review
Nike's latest iteration of the Air Max+ is making a big splash this fall. With new features and a revamped design, the Air Max+ is a great choice for runners of all experience levels.
On reason why runners love the Air Max+ is its compatibility with Nike+. The Nike+ system works with iPods to record information about every run, giving athletes the data they need to train more effectively. This year, runners have the option of using the Nike+ app for their iPhones to record runs with any shoe or by using the integrated chip system in the Air Max+ for precise tracking.
Many Air Max+ features have been redesigned with a runner's comfort in mind. The reworked cushioning and ankle collar help prevent foot fatigue over long runs, making the shoe a great option for marathoners. Also, the Hyperfuse upper and mesh inner sleeve improve comfort by offering excellent ventilation.
In addition to comfort, the light weight of the new Air Max+ offers runners a speed advantage. The design allows the foot to flex and lift with a more natural feel than heavier shoes. Flex grooves help the foot move more freely, making each step more efficient.
The Nike Air Max+ is a great example of a modern running shoe with a clean look and strong performance characteristics. The shoe is available in a number of colorways, ranging from conservative to edgy, with reflective panels on all models to help keep night runners safe.
