Racquetball improves Brown's hand/eye coordination, reaction time and ability to change direction quickly. But the real reason he makes the activity part of his off-season workout is refreshingly simple: It's fun. Brown says he's not just training for football. His goal is to lead a healthy life. Of course it doesn't hurt that all of the athletic traits racquetball develops also help Brown play cornerback more effectively.
