Seitan Stir Fry

 Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Black Bean Garlic Sauce (such as Lee Kum Kee)
  • 1 tsp. Corn Starch
  • 1 tsp. Canola oil, divided
  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced drained Seitan
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped garlic
  • 1 serving Green Beans
  • 1/2 cup cooked Brown Rice
  • Cilantro sprigs (optional)

Directions

Combine black bean sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir with a whisk and set aside. Add half of the canola oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seitan to pan, stir-fry for two minutes or until lightly browned, and then set aside. Add remaining oil in pan over medium-high heat, add garlic and ginger to pan; stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add beans; cover and cook three minutes. Add black bean sauce mixture to pan; cook one minute or until sauce slightly thickens. Add seitan to pan; cook one minute, stirring occasionally. Combine rice and salt; serve seitan mixture over rice. Garnish with cilantro sprigs, if desired.
