Age: 23
Result: Defeated Andy Roddick for third straight title

The difference in Federer's appearance from 2004 to 2005 is stunning. Preparing for his third straight victory at Wimbledon, Federer must have spent some extra time in the gym, because his body was noticeably bigger. Chopping off his ponytail and substituting his trademark headband for a bandana, he looked light years older. His white shirt with gray accents displayed a cleaner, better fitting look, and his shoes reflected his heightened fashion sense. Those Swiss Wimbledon Nikes with 24-karat gold stripes down the side and were said to be valued at $500. Talk about winning with style.
