Single-Arm Soft Toss Drill

  • Kneel on front knee with back leg extended out for support
  • Assume batting position, holding bat with lead arm only
  • As coach or partner tosses ball underhand from side, make contact by guiding bat through strike zone in chopping motion

Sets/Reps: 1x30-40 swings kneeling; repeat in standing position
Coaching Points: Don't raise elbow // Stay back; don't dive at ball
