Steph Curry Catches a Pass and Hits a 3-Pointer in a Fraction of a Second, Literally

Steph Curry's season-long magic show has produced so many eye-popping tricks that they almost fail to be noteworthy any more. It's as if we've reached peak amazement. Unless he manages to sink a shot from beyond halfcourt, it isn't worth mentioning. That's how high of a bar the man has set for himself.

But even with the mark so high, a shot Curry took last night during the Golden State Warriors' 125-107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans stands out. Watch him take a high pass in the corner and launch it home in the blink of an eye.

Seriously! Count how long Curry has the ball in real time. Using the "one one-thousand" format, I never made it past "one one-thou." By the time I reach the "s," the ball has already swished the net.

This blink-and-you'll miss it 3 was part of a 27-point effort from Curry, who apparently turned 28 years old last night. He reportedly feasted on birthday cake in the locker room, which we presume was made of the mashed up hopes and dreams of the rest of the NBA. The Warriors hold a 60-6 record on the year.
