WATCH: 4-Star DE Commits to Clemson While Wearing Short Shorts and Chopping Down a Tree

Logan Rudolph

Getting a college to notice you, whether it's for academics or in hopes of securing an athletic scholarship, is all about distinguishing yourself from the thousands of others applying for the very same thing. And if you're hoping to get noticed by Clemson, Logan Rudolph probably already has you beat.

Rudolph, a four-star defensive end and linebacker out of Northwestern High School in South Carolina, took to the woods with nothing but a pair of cut-off shorts and work boots. With an axe in his hands and "Danger Zone" playing through the trees, Rudolph announced his commitment to play for Clemson next season. As the camera pans over and settles on Rudolph getting his chop on, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound future Tiger gets major points for humor as he states, "Oh, I didn't see you there," before declaring Clemson as his school of choice.

To all other football recruits getting ready to announce their commitments: the bar has officially been set.
