WATCH: 48-Year-Old Tony Hawk Can Still Hit a 900

Tony Hawk is a skateboarding legend. And he can still hit a 900 at 48 years old.

Seventeen years ago, Tony Hawk completed the first 900 at the 1999 X Games after trying the trick eight times. The 900 is one of skateboarding's most legendary tricks, with the difficult 2 1/2 turn aerial spin giving the skateboarding community fits.

Now, 17 years later, the 48-year-old skateboarding genius is still pulling off the famous trick. In a video from RIDE channel, a skateboarding news website, Hawk is shown doing the 900. He took a few tries to do it, but he was still able to nail the trick.

As Hawk repeatedly tries to do the trick, one can clearly see his exasperation. He looks gassed, and he takes some hits on the ramp.

Hawk said this 900 will be his last. Skateboarding is an art form, and even a simple kick flip is amazing to watch.
