WATCH: Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra Throws a Tantrum to Get Luol Deng to Inbound the Ball

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra couldn't believe Luol Deng almost failed to get the ball in play on time.

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra had many things to be disappointed about Thursday night. The Heat lost to the Toronto Raptors 96-92 in overtime, missing an opportunity to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. They committed 21 turnovers and seemed to lack a sense of urgency during portions of the game.

But what made Spoelstra most livid was when Luol Deng almost failed to make a simple inbound pass. Josh Richardson was wide open to receive the pass, but Deng seemed oblivious, causing his coach to jump up and down like a child throwing a temper tantrum in a grocery store.

It worked.

In the video below, watch Deng get the message and complete the inbound pass.
