WATCH: NBA Draft Prospect Ben Simmons Shows Off His Soccer Skills While Knocking Down a Deep 3

Ben Simmons may be the first player selected in next month's NBA Draft. If the NBA doesn't work out, maybe he can take a shot at the MLS.

Ben Simmons, the presumptive No. 1 pick in next month's NBA Draft, has been hard at work prepping his game for the next level after leaving LSU following his freshman season. He's worked hours upon hours attempting to improve his jump shottaken up boxing to improve his hand speed and conditioning; and experimented with new ways to hit an NBA 3-pointer.

In the above video of a recent training session, Simmons can be seen executing a near perfect rainbow kick before catching the pass to himself and knocking down a 3. Both Simmons and his crew go nuts. Simmons even shouts out soccer god Lionel Messi for the inspiration of his hybrid move.

We're not sure exactly where Simmons learned this nifty soccer move, but forget about ever beating him in a game of HORSE if he's pulling out moves like this. That's an H every single time.
