WATCH: No. 1 High School Pitching Prospect Smacks a Grand Slam on His First At-Bat of the Season

Riley Pint, a high school senior in Overland Park, Kansas, could be the top player selected in the 2016 MLB Draft.

It's often true of high school baseball teams that the pitcher is the most athletic player. Such is the case for St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas. Their top pitcher, Riley Pint, is the No. 1 pitching prospect in the nation, according to the PerfectGame.org.

Now a senior, Pint can do it all. Not only can he throw in the triple digits (102 mph at Premier Baseball Pro Day Showcase), but he is also a serious threat as a hitter. During his team's season opener, he smashed a grand slam on his first at-bat.

The LSU commit's big frame—he's 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds—powers both his pitching and his batting. Watch the video above to see Pint smash a homer to the buses.
