WATCH: Rockets' Andrew Goudelock Inbounds the Ball to Himself Off Teammate's Butt

This really happened.

The Phoenix Suns played the  Houston Rockets in Houston on Thursday night, when this bizarre pass happened.

Rockets forward Josh Smith was injured on the previous play and was bending over to nurse his eye before the next possession. Rockets guard Andrew Goudelock grabbed the ball to inbound to Smith and noticed Smith wasn't ready to receive the pass. Rather than risk getting hit with a 5-second out-of-bounds violation, Goudelock got creative. He inbounded the ball off the derrière of the bent-over, grimacing Smith, retrieved the ball off the bounce and left Smith behind (no pun intended) to start the next play.

It was one of those moments when you have to laugh. Check out the play below.
