WATCH: Some Kids Just Aren't Meant to Play Team Sports

Is it a protest or just plain disinterest? Either way, this little kid wants nothing to do with basketball.

Youth sports are great. Besides the opportunity to try a multitude of athletic activities and eventually pick the ones you want to stick with, you also bond with teammates and soak up knowledge from coaches. But for some, organized sports just aren't their jam. Yeah, it's the summer and their parents want to get them out of the house and give them a break from building that dope theme park on Roller Coaster Tycoon. But some kids just aren't meant to be thrust into the world of sports.

Take this kid for instance . . .

For the duration of this two-minute video, this poor, sweet, innocent child wants absolutely nothing to do with the basketball game going on around him. Instead, he stands at the free-throw line on one side of the court, hands at his sides like a sad Charlie Brown, moving only to turn in place in the direction of the action.

Perhaps one day this youngster will come to appreciate the joys of basketball. But for now, he looks like he needs to take a long nap, then get back to building roller coasters on the computer.
