Did you know that nine-time MLB All-Star and future Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero has a baseball-playing son?

It's true, and he could be coming soon to a Major League stadium near you. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is considered by Baseball America to be the top prospect in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. The 18-year-old third baseman is currently playing with the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts and is hitting .321 with 39 RBIs and a .411 OBP on the year.

Vlad Jr. recently competed in the Midwest League's Home Run Derby, and he put on quite the show:

Guerrero ultimately finished second in the derby, but some of the loudest and farthest home runs reportedly came off his bat. It doesn't take long to see the resemblance between Vlad Jr. and his old man—the lack of batting gloves, the hair, the violent swing.

A star athlete's child often has ridiculous expectations to live up to. But Vladimir Guerrero Jr. may live up to the hype and then some.
