Miss USA Fighting for Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, Says You Have No Excuses

Whitney Miller is best known as Miss United States 2012, but that isn't the only success this butt-kicking pageant queen has achieved. What many don't know about Miller is that she is also a professional wake surfer—and she is training to earn her black belt in jiu-jitsu.

Rarely do you hear about pageant girls trading in their tiaras for combat sports; but Miller is on a journey toward earning a black belt, and she isn't afraid to bruise her pretty face to get it. This Miss USA queen has trained for competitions with elite MMA fighters, including Cub Swanson, Tessa Simpson and Rudy Vasquez. She believes that if she can be crowned Miss United States and also get an MMA black belt, there are no limits to what others can accomplish.
