Douglas Scott

Douglas Scott, CSCS, has been a member of the faculty at Pingry School (Martinsville, N.J.) since 1999, serving both as a teacher and coach. Currently he designs and oversees training programs for both male and female student-athletes competing on a variety of varsity and junior varsity athletic teams. He has also been a featured speaker at local and regional sports camps, clinics and workshops. In addition to teaching, Scott has worked as a personal trainer, youth sport coach and fitness director. A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, he has written a number of fitness-related articles and book chapters. He is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education and exercise science.
