Duncan Simpson

Duncan Simpson is an assistant professor of sport, exercise and performance psychology at Barry University (Miami Shores, Fla.) He received his Ph.D. in sport & exercise psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. A certified consultant with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology, Simpson has consulted with athletes, teams and coaches at all ages and competition levels since 2005. He has designed, implemented and evaluated mental conditioning programs in a variety of contexts; and he currently provides supervision and mentoring to prospective sport and exercise psychology consultants. As an undergraduate, Simpson played tennis and soccer in the UK, and he has an extensive background as a coach. He is a keen marathon runner and an avid golfer.
